IIRC you have to create symlinks for default.css and default.php in the schema directory which point to your selected schema.

1- Which schema directory are you talking about? If you talk about the one at the themes of themes subdirectory, I don't use redbasic and there aren't both default.css and default.php in that. So probably you talk about another directory but where?
2- Isn't it possible to assign a default schema for everyone as it is possible to assign a default theme by editing .htstring.php and admin panel?

Schemas are only available for redbasic. I do not think any other theme has schema suport...

I mean, there aren't both default.css and default.php inside of Redbasic's schema directory too. The selector says focus(default) is selected as default but there aren't anything except for focus black, focus light and others which aren't the default.
