The other way around would be to create ZAP add-ons, for support of dispora / GNUsocial (not sure if this is possible; but if, then probably non-nomadic, by design), plus support of of CardDAV and local articles (wiki/blog/maybe web), and make the new UI extentable for those optional modules
I am starting to understand that there is no old and new code base, but a substantially different code base for different goals.
Or will Hubzilla become unstable as soon as you activate any one of them?
