I’m playing around with Hubzilla (with ActivityPub enabled) and am trying to follow it from a Mastodon account on c.im. For some bizarre reason it just won’t work.
Hubzilla says I’m following this account and that it has given all permissions to Mastodon but Mastodon is not allowing anything back. I can see on Mastodon that Hubzilla is following but when I try to follow back it’s just going to Pending. No posts and DMs can be seen at either end.
Another Mastodon account on a different server was able to follow the Hubzilla account without a problem. How can that be?
I cannot find any place on Hubzilla where I can approve the connection request manually.
I’m kind of hoping that the impending Mastodon update will solve this problem but I’m not counting on that. Did anybody have similar experiences?
