“I remember one, Steve something. Adore. Steve Adore.”
“I think that was his job,” Greasly informed.
“Well it was Steve something. He was a Hooman.”
“Ugh,” Greasly cringed. “A Hooman.”
Penny looked confused, “Aren’t you both Human?”
“No, we’re Human.” She still seemed lost, so he continued, “Hoom is a system very, very like Hume. Freakishly similar, but still different. Hume has 8 planets and a dwarf planet. Hoom has the same. Life evolved on Hume-3 and also on Hoom-3. Hume-3 is called Earth. Hoom-3 is called Dirt.”
“Our bodies are almost identical, too,” Haredegar added.
“Just that their appendix is on the left,” Greasly said. “Oh, and they call it the bonus organ.”
“Why is all that annoying?” Circle asked.
“It’s not. But the farking Hoomans are,” Greasly explained, “Hoom got Flitzdrive first, so when Hume did, Hoom assumed we had copied everything from them.”
“How can you copy planets and your anatomy?” Penny asked.
“I know, right? But that doesn’t keep them from being smug assholes about it.”
