!Hubzilla Support Forum Hello, what is the Admin Delete option under some of the posts supposed to do? I was assuming that this a tool for admins to delete illegal content. But that is obviously not what it is doing. I couldn't delete anything form a different channel.

That's no admin function. A user can "delete" items from their stream - a.k.a. remove them from their view.

IIRC this is for the sys channel content. Mistly visible in the public stream...

I think admin can delete a channel or a member but has no action in post except with phpmyadmin

I just had a quick look to the sourcecode and it should be possible for the admin to delete any post. So there is probably a bug. I'll have a look...

You are really fast. This puts emotional pressure on me to reactivate a personal instance to be able to test that, because I don't want to run a dev version on gerzilla

Btw. I have a similar question about the ability to block channels or accounts for the admin in the admin menu. Here I also realized that it doesn't seem to do anything. I was assuming that blocking a channel would make it invisible for anybody

It does not work retroactively. New content by blocked sites/channels will be rejected...
