bug202308052 view profiles false statement
In the account menu option 'view profiles', there is a statement: "Visible to anybody on the internet"
This appears to be false, because Sign-in required

whether a profile is Visible depends from the chosen Channel Role /settings/channel
and also advanced configuration under /settings/privacy
with a custom Channel Role and other setting under /settings/privacy you can actually configure HZ that way that all kind of things get visible for anybody on the internet - YES

channel roles work .
you
can't
have a channel in HZ without selecting a channel role

you mix up channel role with contact role - two different things - a channel role overrules a contact role - contact role permissions are inherited fro the channel role ... try to get this...
and there are also privat groups with access permissions - an other thing

:-)
/settings Channel Settings > Basic Settings > Channel role
your channel always uses a Channel role - it can't act without it...
a channel role is a set of permissions...
this permissions are the basic settings for a Contact Roles /permcats - thre permissions are inherited from the Channel role --- but you can add more permissions for a contact role under /permcats

I tested it on my websites, and I can view all profiles without being logged in.
I even tried multiple browsers. And I can see your profile at
https://tiksi.net/profile/hubzillar
when not logged in.
Maybe there is a setting somewhere that hides your profile? If so, I am not aware of one. Anyone know?
