After post of content to a channel, there are options 'take me home' or 'log me out of this site'. The latter does log you out of the channel, but does not return to the original account channel.

That's what I expected it to do. And many times is exactly what I want it to do.

For example, if I'm remotely authenticated on a website and need to log out and login again with new credentials. Leaving the website I'm trying to log into would be a pain.

Perhaps there should be a third option then, that logs you out and sends you back.

Permissions images

The option of a post, 'attach/upload file' allows images to be added (also multiple images) without any instruction to set permissions for the images.

Since posted, original post appears not in the forum, but as a 'direct message' post?
